The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has once again extended the Combined Higher Secondary Higher Level (CHSL) Examination 2017 registration process.
Now, candidates can apply for the same till December 27 on the official website, the link for which is ssc.nic.in
“It has come to the notice of the Commission that due to heavy traffic on the server of the Commission, some candidates are facing problems in submission of online application form for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2017,” said the official notification.
“Therefore, keeping in view the difficulties being faced by some candidates, the Competent Authority has decided to further extend the closing date for filling up of online application forms for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2017 to December 27.
“The candidates may please note that no further extension of time will be given under any circumstances beyond 27.12.2017(5 pm) for submission of online application form to the said Examination,” the commission added.
Meanwhile, the computer-based exam (Tier – I) is scheduled to be held from March 4, 2018, to March 26, 2018, while Tier II examination (descriptive paper) will be held on July 8, 2018.

Candidates can make the payment of Rs 100 for the registration procedure
Women candidates of all categories and candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, persons with disability and ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee
“As regards payments made through challan, it is informed that in those cases where the challans have been generated by the aspiring candidates up to 5 pm on December 27, they could make the payment to the designated Branches of SBI using the said challan, within the working hours of the Bank up to 29.12.2017,” read the SSC notice.
