Online registration for IBPS PO Exam 2016 will start from 26 July. Prospective candidates are required to send in their applications, completed in all respects, at the official portal. Here’s the check list for all the candidates, before applying for one of the biggest examinations of the year.
Candidates can start registering for the IBPS PO 2016 examination from 26 July. The online preliminary examination will be held in the month of October (16, 22 and 23 October) for recruitment to Probationary Officers and Management Trainee posts. Candidates should submit their applications for the prelims exam before 13 August.
Before applying for the IBPS PO 2016 Prelims exam, candidates should be thoroughly aware of the required documents and other important things. The chief requirement is fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Candidates, intending to apply for CWE PO/MT-VI should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS.
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government is a must for applying for IBPS PO 2016. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate on the day of registration and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation.
Candidate must also have valid certificate in support of any relaxation they are going to claim. Relaxation claims are usually done for caste and age. Therefore candidates are suggested to keep the documents in reach.
One of the important documents required to appear for the IBPS PO 2016 examination is the photo identity. Candidates are required to carry their photo identity like PAN Card/ Passport/ DL/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/ People’s Representative along with a photograph / Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ university/ Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID. Ration Card will not be accepted as valid id proof for this project.
