The preliminary examination will be conducted in the month of October this year for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainee in 20 participating banks. The 19-day long registration process has commenced on July 26 as several lakh aspiring candidates look forward to test their mantle. The online registration process that includes editing/modification of online applications would go on till August 13, 2016 as the online examination (preliminary) is scheduled to be held on 16, 22 & 23 October.
Meanwhile, the recruitment process of SBI PO is still underway as Mains exam will be held on 30th July.
IBPS issued notification for Common Recruitment Process (CWE PO/MT-VI) to shortlist the candidates for appointment as Probationary Officer/Management Trainee in one of the 20 participating organisations. These organisations include Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India and Vijaya Bank. The tentative number of vacancies in these banks stand at 8,822, that includes 1338 for SC, 665 for ST, 2319 for OBC and remaining 4500 vacancies for general category candidates.
