The recruitment process for about 45 thousand posts is currently underway through Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) ranging from Probationary Officer (PO), clerks and on officer scale too. Here’s your weekly roundup on what’s going on about these exams and what’s coming.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous organisation that deals with the recruitment process for several leading banking organisations across the Country. Currently, IBPS is holding numerous recruitment process for filling around 45 thousand posts in several participating banks. This article gives a brief idea about each recruitment process :
IBPS is conducting the online examination for selection of eligible candidates for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts in 20 participating banks. Total 8,822 posts would be filled through the current recruitment process. The online application process was completed in July/August while the preliminary examination would be held in October. IBPS PO prelims exam would be conducted on October 16, 22 & 23, followed by the main examination on November 20. The complete recruitment process of PO/MTs would wind up by the month of April next year.
What’s next : As the preliminary exam is less than a month away, the candidates must prepare for the exam in a much practical way. The candidates would have 1 hour to solve 100 questions so they must keep a close watch on the time they take to solve a question.
And since preliminary exam for PO is scheduled to start mid-October, admit cards will be released within next week.
Common Recruitment process for selection of personnel for 19,243 Clerical cadre posts in 19 banks is being undertaken by IBPS. The online registration process for IBPS Clerk recruitment 2016 ended on September 12 while the pre-exam training for a limited number of candidates belonging to reserved category candidates would be organised from November 7 to 12. The preliminary exam would be held on November 26 & 27 and December 3 & 4. Result of preliminary exam would be announced in December as the main exam would be conducted on December 31 and January 1. IBPS would complete the provisional allotment process in April 2017.
